Bio
Christa has provided SAP services to local school districts for over twenty five years and has been a certified prevention specialist since 2006 . She is currently a lead SAP trainer for the state which allows for increased access to SAP services within local school districts and outside agencies. Currently a SAP liaison and an outpatient therapist, Christa is able to work with students to improve mental health outcomes. When working with multiple school districts, Christa has guided policy changes to effectively address student concerns and needs regarding substance use and mental health topics. Working in a field that has seen a vast increase in demand for services within school settings, Christa continues to advocate for her clients and families. Lastly, she is pursuing a Master's in social work to allow her to provide the best support possible to those seeking services.
